Frutiger India’s participation in the Chattisgarh Mining Show 2024, held in Raipur from February 9th to 11th, was a resounding success. The event highlighted the significant potential in the mining sector, attracting numerous inquiries for the MobyDick Dust Control and Wheel Wash solutions.

The construction of a 400-bed hotel and a 3,000-fan zone is underway at the Etihad Football Stadium. To comply with operational regulations, a permit was obtained for the construction project, mandating the use of a wheel washing system to maintain cleanliness on the surrounding roads. The chosen solution is the MobyDick ConLine KIT 400MB wheel washing system, capable of handling light to medium soiling conditions, and it will be relocated as needed during the project.
Despite the challenge of limited space, a 20,000-liter recycling tank was strategically placed over 10 meters from the wash pad. The customer expressed satisfaction with the system’s washing performance and recycling capability, allowing them to focus on completing the project efficiently.

The powerful MobyDick wheel washing system is able to clean up to 250 heavily soiled trucks per day and therefore makes a significant contribution to clean public roads; a pioneering investment for efficient wheel washing.

FCAB has a long history and plays a key role in the transport of goods and trade between Chile and Bolivia. The railway company was originally founded to facilitate the transport of mineral resources such as copper and silver from Bolivia to the Chilean coast. Today, FCAB is a major player in the region’s transport system.

A valued customer of MobyDick in the U.S., which operates several quarries in Pennsylvania and New York State, faced an acute problem. Approximately 300 trucks leave its quarries every day, and the quarries were particularly polluted due to the sandy production environment. This challenge was exacerbated by the fact that the trucks were traveling through a residential street, requiring an urgent solution.

During the installation and commissioning of a MobyDick ConLine KIT Plus 600B-50P wheel washing system in England, a few challenges were encountered but successfully overcome by the skilled FRUTIGER mechanics.
