Last week, the installation team from Frutiger CZ s.r.o. completed the successful installation of the MobyDick ConLine KIT Flex 400 MC mobile wheel washing system at an extensive construction site in Košice, Slovakia. This advanced system, which was specially designed to meet the requirements of the construction industry, will be in operation there for almost two years on a rental basis. Its modular design includes a robust washing system measuring four metres in length, practical entry and exit ramps and an efficient recycling tank. Equipped with a scraper conveyor and a flocculant dosing pump, this system enables accelerated sludge separation and is capable of cleaning up to 100 moderately soiled trucksper day. The system can be commissioned immediately after completion of the access roads by the customer, with the entire installation completed within a single working day.

With the recent commissioning of a MobyDick KIT Plus 800B-50P wheel washing system at a new landfill site near the headquarters of FRUTIGER Company AG, the operator, a leading building materials producer in the region, has made a clear statement against the contamination of public spaces by emissions from the storage site. Designed to handle medium to heavy contamination, the system can efficiently clean up to 200 trucks daily. This proactive measure ensures that the streets around the landfill are free from contamination right from the start. This not only significantly improves coexistence with traffic participants and residents but also exemplifies how targeted actions and the use of advanced cleaning technologies can significantly reduce burdens on public spaces.

Frutiger India’s participation in the Chattisgarh Mining Show 2024, held in Raipur from February 9th to 11th, was a resounding success. The event highlighted the significant potential in the mining sector, attracting numerous inquiries for the MobyDick Dust Control and Wheel Wash solutions.

The construction of a 400-bed hotel and a 3,000-fan zone is underway at the Etihad Football Stadium. To comply with operational regulations, a permit was obtained for the construction project, mandating the use of a wheel washing system to maintain cleanliness on the surrounding roads. The chosen solution is the MobyDick ConLine KIT 400MB wheel washing system, capable of handling light to medium soiling conditions, and it will be relocated as needed during the project.
Despite the challenge of limited space, a 20,000-liter recycling tank was strategically placed over 10 meters from the wash pad. The customer expressed satisfaction with the system’s washing performance and recycling capability, allowing them to focus on completing the project efficiently.

FCAB has a long history and plays a key role in the transport of goods and trade between Chile and Bolivia. The railway company was originally founded to facilitate the transport of mineral resources such as copper and silver from Bolivia to the Chilean coast. Today, FCAB is a major player in the region’s transport system.

A valued customer of MobyDick in the U.S., which operates several quarries in Pennsylvania and New York State, faced an acute problem. Approximately 300 trucks leave its quarries every day, and the quarries were particularly polluted due to the sandy production environment. This challenge was exacerbated by the fact that the trucks were traveling through a residential street, requiring an urgent solution.
