Stepless adjustment of the throwing distance for dust control cannons? No problem for the Swiss company and innovation leader FRUTIGER Company AG! At this year’s bauma in Munich, the company with the unmistakable whale logo presented the latest development from MobyDick®: The New Generation Models! In addition to this highlight, the proven MobyDick® wheel washing systems as well as solutions for the automatic cleaning of heavily soiled construction machines were found at the booth.

In 1995, FRUTIGER launched MobyDick Quick, the world’s first wheel wash system that meant that vehicles no longer had to stop for the wheels to be cleaned. This innovation revolutionised wheel cleaning for construction vehicles and, at the same time, marked the start of FRUTIGER’s reign as the world market leader in the field of wheel wash systems. At this year’s Bauma, the Swiss company will present a world first from the field of dust control.

Known as an innovative swiss construction company, Eberhard Bau AG is also a role model when it comes to protecting people and the environment from harmful dirt and dust emissions around their plants. For decades, the company are relying on the world’s leading wheel washing systems from FRUTIGER. The picture below shows the recent handover of a new MobyDick ONE wheel washing system with a 150m3 recycling tank concept.

Recently the Spanish Branch of FRUTIGER sold a Wheel Washing System MobyDick to Ecuador for “Unión Cementera Nacional” UCEM C.E.M. The company which depends to the Government runs several cement plants in Ecuador. As an innovative company, UCEM invested in a modern MobyDick Wheel Washing System KIT Flex 400C to keep the streets around their concrete plant clean. The machine was built up in summer 2018 and put into operation in past October. UCEM is very satisfied with their wheel washer and will probably purchase some more systems from FRUTIGER in the future.

The Indian Trade Fair for Mining and Mechanical Engineering held its 14th exhibition in the city of Kolkata. FRUTIGER India took this opportunity to introduce the innovative MobyDick product range to the numerous representatives of renowned mining companies. We thank all visitors for the great interest and the many technical discussions.

Another MobyDick wheel wash system was recently delivered for the customer «Golf World» in England. The system will be used in a construction project, with 9-hole golf course being expanded into an 18-hole golf course, which includes the construction of a new hotel and business center. The mobile system will be moved several times during the deployment period at the project site and will be also temporarily used as a stationary system (in the ground). The installation of the system took only a few hours and the customer is very satisfied with the washing performance of the system.
