At four locations in the Kassel and North Hesse area, BAUREKA handles approx. 400,000 tons of soil and construction waste per year and produces high-quality recycling materials for the construction sector. In addition, approx. 40,000 tonnes of industrial residues (including ash from the Kassel waste incineration plant) are processed annually. Valuable metals are returned to the material cycle through processing and the remaining minerals are used in road construction and earthworks. In order to reduce the pollution of the public roads in the surroundings of the community in Igelsburg / Habichtswald FRUTIGER installed a mobile wheel washing system with 4 meters length for the cleaning of approx. 100 trucks per day.

In the course of the construction project Kramertunnel in Bavaria, the company Herrmann Albrecht Hoch- und Tiefbau GmbH decided to install a MobyDick Wheel Washing System. From now on, the wheels and chassis of more than 100 trucks can be cleaned per day, in order to minimize the road pollution caused by the transport of the excavated material. The planned single-tube tunnel with two lanes and a length of 3577 m will be the third longest road tunnel in Germany after its completion. The aim of the project is to increase the capacity of the supra-regional north-south connection between Munich and Fernpass (Austria – Tyrol) and to relieve the city centre of Garmisch. The opening of the tunnel is planned for 2024.

In beautiful spring weather, a MobyDick ConLine KIT Flex 400B wheel washing system was recently installed for a small landfill in eastern Switzerland. During the next years up to 100 trucks with light to medium pollution will pass the system to keep the roads around the site clean.

Installation of a MobyDick ConLine KIT Flex 400MB Wheel Washing System at Smiths Bletchington in the UK. Smiths Bletchington is a long established group of companies, primarily serving the construction industry in and around Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties. FRUTIGER has installed a system that is equipped with a large recycling tank inset into the ground, so the customer can use two wash pumps and maange the silt removal easier.

After a long period of uncertainty as to whether this year’s CONEXPO will take place due to the corona crisis, the fair opened its doors on 10 March despite all the adversities of the corona crisis.
Also FRUTIGER and the MobyDick North America Team did not miss the opportunity to present their products on a big booth to the numerous visitors. During the four days we were pleased to have had many interesting discussions and many new contacts. We are looking forward to the upcoming projects and despite the extraordinary circumstances back to a successful trade fair.

On March 10th the CONEXPO in Las Vegas, the biggest building fair in North America, opens its doors. Also, the FRUTIGER & MobyDick Team will be there with a large stand on site. Beside the sale of Wheel Washing Systems FRUTIGER also has a large rental park with systems for different applications.
The picture shows a mobile MobyDick wheel washing system ConLine KIT Flex Mobile at a rental operation in Frankfurt. The installation was carried out within a few hours by our mechanics and directly afterwards wheels and chassis could be cleaned without stopping during the passage.

FRUTIGER has recently replaced an old MobyDick roller line with a new MobyDick line type ConLine KIT Flex 800B for a renowned construction company in Germany.
The FRUTIGER engineers designed the new plant in such a way that it could be inserted into the old infrastructure without large expenditure. Thereby it was possible to install the new plant beside the used water recycling basins to continue to use the still functioning pumps. FRUTIGER would like to thank you for the trust you have placed in us for many years and is looking forward to further cooperation in the coming years.

Recently FRUTIGER has received the order for the delivery of two MobyDick KIT Flex 400 Wheel Washing Systems in Austria. The systems have been installed in the meantime and will be used in the long term for the extension of the junctions of the Rhine Valley motorway. Due to the modular concept of the ConLine Wheel Washing Systems it was possible for the owner of the systems to install one of the two systems in advance for a few weeks on a small construction site as a fully mobile variant.
