Noise Emissions
We measure what others only claim.
When it comes to dust suppression systems, noise emissions always play a major role, as these systems are often used in close proximity to people.
For this reason, FRUTIGER has placed special emphasis on this topic during the development of its dust suppression systems, with the goal of bringing the quietest dust suppression systems in the world to market. Our products are built around three core elements:
- Throwing Unit (Turbine) Made of Composite Fiber Instead of Sheet Metal
While sheet metal amplifies noise emissions through vibrations caused by the motor, composite fiber virtually absorbs these vibrations and generates no additional emissions. - Formability
Composite materials can be shaped into almost any desired form without the limitations posed by bending or cutting sheet metal. These materials can be formed into complex curves and aerodynamically optimized designs during the manufacturing process, improving airflow and thereby reducing air resistance and noise development.- Lightweight Construction: Composite materials offer an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, highly valued in aerospace and automotive industries. Lighter components contribute to energy efficiency by reducing fuel consumption.
- Noise Reduction: Aerodynamically optimized designs made possible by composite materials lead to reduced turbulence and associated noise. This is especially important in applications where noise reduction is critical, such as fans, turbines, or in the automotive sector.
- Use of a Frequency Converter
All Multi models are equipped with a frequency converter that allows the rotation speed to be reduced to a minimum. As a result, our Multi models can operate with noise emissions as low as 60 dB — even at throw ranges of up to 90 meters — and with minimal power consumption.
