Clean Roads and Efficient Logistics: MobyDick Major Project at the Port of Bar (Montenegro)

The Port of Bar (Luka Bar) is the logistical heart of Montenegro and a central hub for Balkan transit. In an environment where thousands of tons of bulk cargo, ore, and construction materials are handled daily, the contamination of vehicles and infrastructure presents a massive challenge.
To ensure public road safety and protect their own fleet, the port operator invested heavily in modern cleaning technology from FRUTIGER last year. Since their successful commissioning, two MobyDick Wheel Washing systems and a specialized Demucking system have been in heavy-duty operation.

The Challenge: Stopping Contamination at the Port Exit
Truck fleets leaving the port area often carry significant amounts of dust and debris onto the public roads surrounding Bar. This not only leads to environmental concerns but also poses safety risks for local traffic.
