The freely accessible 360° washing platform operates without side splash walls and can be approached from any direction and at any angle – a revolution for facilities where traditional drive-through systems could not be installed due to insufficient entry and exit space.
The heart of the MD Platform is a water-conducting, hot-dip galvanized steel structure. Integrated into it is a newly developed nozzle arrangement that applies the proven principle of “lots of water – low pressure”: up to 4,000 l/min of recycled water hit the tires, wheel flanks, and chassis in a single wheel rotation, removing adhering dirt just as effectively as systems with side walls.
Minimal Footprint – Maximum Flexibility
The recycling tanks are space-efficiently integrated beneath the platform, eliminating the need for additional sedimentation basins. Thanks to individually selectable platform widths, even long articulated trucks or articulated dumpers can drive diagonally onto the platform. For the first time, this reduces the overall space requirement of a tire washing system to the size of the platform itself.

When exiting halls where hazardous materials are produced or stored, the MD Platform prevents vehicles from being forced to drive out either backwards or head-on. Instead, they can leave the hall area from various angles – without disrupting operations and without carrying toxic dust out of the facility.
Proven Technology – Combined in a New Solution
MobyDick Platform is based on expertise gained from over 4,000 installed MobyDick wheel washing systems worldwide. As with all FRUTIGER systems, the wash water is fully recirculated; solids settle in the underground recycling tanks and can be disposed of cost-effectively.
