MobyDick Wheel Washing System for Kartuli Cement in Georgia

Kartuli Cement, a major cement producer in Georgia, faced increasing contamination around its plant due to clay- and limestone-based soil conditions combined with heavy truck traffic. Especially during wet weather, this resulted in dirty tires and chassis, increased cleaning demands, and environmental impact on public roads.

To address this challenge sustainably, Kartuli Cement contacted the global market leader in wheel washing systems, Frutiger Company AG (MobyDick). Through close coordination, a project-specific solution was developed and tailored to the local operational requirements.

The system was delivered from Frutiger’s production facility in the Czech Republic and successfully installed on-site this week with support from a MobyDick service technician.

The installed MobyDick system includes:
• an 8-meter washing unit
• a 50 m³ water tank
• automatic sludge discharge
• the optional “Chassis Wash” feature

The system ensures efficient cleaning of tires, mudguards, and the entire vehicle chassis, allowing trucks to leave the Kartuli Cement plant clean, safe, and environmentally compliant.
