Frutiger delivers the first MobyDick ONE in the UK

Frutiger is proud to announce the successful installation of the first MobyDick ONE Wheel Washing System in the UK—and the first on-ground MobyDick ONE installation worldwide, featuring specially engineered access ramps.

The 14.4 m system (2 × 7.2 m) with 18 high-performance pumps presented a unique engineering challenge. Working closely with the groundworks contractor, Frutiger optimized the pipework, wash and wastewater pumping systems, and water recovery process to achieve maximum water recycling despite the site’s low ground level and demanding operating conditions.

The customer operates a fleet of 50 tipper trucks alongside a range of tracked vehicles. Throughout the working day, the MobyDick ONE provides high-performance wheel washing for site traffic, while also delivering intensive cleaning for tracked vehicles prior to maintenance and removing years of built-up mud from tipper trucks.

The result is exceptional cleaning performance across all vehicle types. Even the most heavily contaminated vehicles leave the wash system thoroughly cleaned, helping the customer maintain high environmental standards, reduce road contamination, and improve operational efficiency.
